Terms of Service

1. The Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Osmet LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as AnnuityMatch®. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. No Professional Advice

We are a technology company, not an insurance agency. AnnuityMatch® and Osmet LLC do not provide insurance, financial, or tax advice, and do not sell or recommend any insurance product. We connect consumers with independently licensed professionals. Any licensing, suitability, and regulatory obligations are the responsibility of the professional, not Osmet LLC. You are solely responsible for evaluating any professional you are matched with.

3. Payment Processing

Consumers are not charged to use AnnuityMatch®. Professionals pay platform fees as described to them at onboarding. All payments are processed by Stripe; Osmet LLC does not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers.

4. SMS Communications

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from AnnuityMatch® relating to account verification, appointment scheduling, and service notifications. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile information is handled.

5. Intellectual Property

AnnuityMatch® is a federally registered trademark of Osmet LLC. All software, source code, proprietary matching algorithms, and brand materials are owned exclusively by Osmet LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or reverse engineered.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Osmet LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the platform or from the acts or omissions of any professional you are connected with.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Osmet LLC and its officers, members, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the platform or your violation of these Terms.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
